There are processing an image refining that occurs even before we remove blemishes, wrinkles, whitening teeth or brightening eyes.

Yes there is considerable gear and safety considerations that require us to have an assistant. They are important to ensure that the session goes smoothly. We also generally try to have a member of each gender present during a photo shoot to provide more comfort for our clients when adjusting things like hair and clothing.

While we endeavour to match whatever brand style you have it is not always going to be 100% compared to the original work of a photography you may have worked in the past. We may be able to replicate similar lighting styles, but there is always an inherent difference between one photographer and another. If this is a concern, please make sure that it is brought to our attention prior to the commencement of us working together so that we can be transparent and whether or not we are able to deliver what you are asking for.

We have been able to travel fairly broadly across BC so long as travel is covered. Due to the nature of our gear, we may choose to rent locally in your area to be more economical than to ship our equipment with us. We have conducted head shots from Victoria BC to as far as Mississauga Ontario

We take a softer approach to our photography in general unless otherwise asked, we strive to create an image that is pleasant lower on the shadow depth so that it seems bright and friendly. If you prefer moody or Liting, we certainly do so and have examples however, it is not what we typically produce for corporate work. Those are done specifically more for branding of an individual than as an organization. We like to keep like casual conversation and aim to have a relaxed feeling while posed in the most flattering way possible.

Our general retouching is to produce images that are believable and seemingly natural. We try not to over Photoshop to produce fake results. We believe that everybody is beautiful in their own way, and we want to highlight that beauty in the way that we photograph. If there are a major concerns in the way that you would like your images retouched it is best to have a discussion in advance to ensure that we are able to do so comfortably.

There is a cancellation fee for sessions cancelled under 48 hours. This is to cover cost of loss of business during booked time.

While we cannot control the weather, we can try to mitigate its problems. We normally will ask you if there are alternatives in your area or research them ourselves. Otherwise we are able to bring a portable studio in a space as long as the space is 10’ x 10’ we can accomplish most head shots comfortably.

Typically in our sessions, we tether to a computer so that you can see images prior to West leaving. For those doing bulk edits, we often ask the participant to select their photos prior to leaving. As for brand sessions or on-location sessions, we may just show you the back of our camera to ensure that you are happy with the direction and production at that point, but we may not have the capacity to show you absolutely everything on a computer, especially in a busy open area.
